Divya Bhatia is a versatile and experienced independent artistic director and producer, regularly presenting international music and theatre projects in India and overseas. He is Festival Director of Jodhpur RIFF, India’s leading, annual, international roots music/ performing arts festival. He is the producer of SAZ, a trio of young Langa music maestros. He is also developing a program to revitalise the root music traditions of Rajasthan, under the aegis of the Mehrangarh Museum Trust in Jodhpur. He is the Asia tutor for the British Council flagship program South Asia Festivals and Culture Academy (2018-2024). He is India partner for the International Collaborative Outreach programme for Applied Theatre at RCSSD (UK), developing and delivering theatre research and documentation projects. Based in Mumbai, Divya has also been a classical tabla player and a stage and film actor.
