Bagarija Orkestar is a crazy wind and percussion band, born in 2018 from the cosmopolitan heart of Naples that is inspired by the fanfares of Serbia, Macedonia, Romania and Turkey.
The group recreates the atmosphere of liberating collective magic of Balkan festivals, while holding firm to its roots, thanks to the musical tradition in which our city is immensely rich.
The Bagarija Orkestra will give life to an interactive, touring and ironic show that marries multiple musical genres, from klezmer to ska, from swing to Neapolitan folk music.
Their concert will close’ the second edition of Napoli World with an expanded lineup that also includes Ars Nova Napoli, one of the best known and loved bands of Nu Folk’s Neapolitan panorama.
By using their own taste beyond conventions of styles they are able to combine a plethora of Mediterranean melodies which they came contact with.
